Back to doing
the things
that matter most
Pain and injury shouldn’t dictate what you can and can’t do. I take the time to understand what’s actually going on, explain it in a way that makes sense, and build a treatment plan to get you back to doing the things you love, not just treating the symptoms in front of us.

My Approach
Most people come to see me not just because they’re in pain, but because that pain is stopping them from doing something they enjoy, and they want that part of their life back.
Pain can be debilitating. It can suck the joy out of life and it can be scary. There’s often a fear alongside pain. A fear of what’s causing it, a fear of whether it will ever go away, and a fear that it will mean being told to stop the sport, the work, or the hobby you love.
As a Registered Osteopath, my goal is to help people overcome the pain, the injury, and the fear that comes with it. I’ve had my own injuries and felt many of those same fears. I know what it’s like to live with pain and what it takes to recover and come back from it.
My approach is built on a thorough assessment that takes the time to really understand both the physical problem and what you want to get back to doing. I will be straight with you about what I think is happening, including being up-front when something isn’t certain. And I’ll build a plan that’s centred around your goals, without unnecessary treatment that never seems to end, and without telling you to stop doing the things you love.
My aim is to get you out of pain and help you understand your problem. I want you to feel confident in your body again and in what you can do so that you don’t have to keep coming back to me unless you need me.

The Assessment
Your first appointment gives me time to assess your problem properly. Not just the pain and symptoms, but how it’s affecting you and what it’s stopping you from doing. You’ll leave with an understanding of what I think is happening and why.
A Plan Built Around Your Goals
I’ll put together a treatment plan aimed at what you want to achieve. Whether that is returning to a sport or simply getting through the day without pain grinding you down.
An Honest Plan, From Start to Finish
Treatment carries on while it’s making a difference. If it isn’t, the plan changes. Whether that’s a different approach or referring you to someone better placed to help. I won’t keep you coming back for treatment that isn’t working.
